De Marls International Schools operates a fleet of school vans, each staffed by a trained driver and a dedicated attendant. Our transport service is designed to give parents peace of mind from the moment a learner leaves home to the moment they return safely.
Our vans cover routes across Ruiru and all surrounding areas — from nearby estates and neighbourhoods to further communities — with schedules coordinated to match school bell times. As demand grows, we scale our fleet accordingly so that no family is left without an option.
Families who prefer to make their own transport arrangements are equally welcome to do so. We simply ask that you communicate your plan with the administration so we can ensure smooth arrival and departure procedures for everyone.

School Transport
Enrol your child in our school-managed transport service. Our fleet of vans covers all routes across Ruiru and surrounding areas, with trained drivers and attendants on every run.
Personal Arrangements
Families are welcome to organise their own means of transport — whether that's driving your child to school yourself, car-pooling with other parents, or using a trusted private service.
Please note: Regardless of the transport method chosen, all parents and guardians are required to inform the school administration of their preferred arrangement at the start of each term to ensure the safety and accountability of every learner.

Learner Safety
Every van is equipped with seat belts, first-aid kits, and a trained attendant. Student boarding and alighting is supervised at every stop.
Timely Pickups & Drop-offs
Schedules are designed around school bell times. Parents receive route timetables at the start of each term so they are always informed.
Vehicle Maintenance Compliance
All vehicles undergo regular servicing and safety inspections in line with NTSA requirements, ensuring roadworthy transport at all times.
How to Enrol in Transport
Transport subscription is optional and managed through the school administration. Families can enrol at any point during the year, subject to available space on the route serving their area.
